Teen Pregnany as Affirmative Action

Can (black) teen pregnancy explained in a Coate-Loury setting if we assume that black girls give more chance to unpromising black boyfriends because the mothers-to-be have some preference to this type of guys over the other, say, WASPs? Could the bad attitude and insufficient (HC) investments of the black teenage guys be sustained and reinforced as a typical bad equilibrium under statistic discrimination (by BOTH types of girls)?

Otherwise, dynamic inconsistency and commitment problems are obvious candidates too, but still.
