The effect of time spent on dating

As some recent research on teenage friends' or sociability's effect on later earnings, I would love to see whether some of the successful people invested in their human capital because they had no choice: Some data on high school (or even college) relationships and dating would be nice to link to investment decisions (homework, college application etc.) and outcomes (earnings, John Bates Clark prizes etc.).
